Middleton Machining has been a trusted source for prototype, short run, and production run manufacturing since 1990. We have developed a solid reputation for utilizing cutting edge technology to provide our customers with technologically advanced manufacturing services.
Augmenting these capabilities is our new Amada Pulsar NT Series, 4000 watt laser cutter. This high speed production laser system can achieve position accuracy of ± 0.0004˝/20” and is designed for high-volume, short-run production of sheet metal parts. It integrates an AMNC-F, PC-based CNC, and a turbine-driven, RF excited, CO2 laser resonator. Cutting head versatility allows for independent CNC control of focus, nozzle height, and assist gases which ensure greater cutting flexibility. This system delivers high speed piercing and mark free processing with turret-like throughput in high utilization materials such as cold rolled steel. Its PC-based touch screen allows the operator to control the entire system at once with the option to run the program immediately or schedule it for another time. The automated part unload feature allows for oversized, full material width work to pass through the chute automatically, with the ability to unload several parts in a single work chute operation. This advanced system is ideal for the cutting of steel, stainless steel, aluminum and many other commonly used materials.

HDS NT Series, Servo/Hydro Press Brake

Middleton Machining has been a trusted source for precision machining and fabrication services since 1990. We have invested extensively in technology and equipment over the years; this is illustrated in our recent acquisition of a HDS NT Series Press Brake.
This cutting edge metal forming system is an ultra-high precision, down-acting system featuring advanced hydraulics that provides the best in positioning accuracy available. Independent AC-servo motors allow for fast approach, bending, and return speeds with a repeatability of ±0.00004˝. It also features a multiple axis backgauge, CNC hydraulic bed crowning, PC control with network capabilities, one-touch punch holders, a CS clamp, and much more. These tools allow for simple operation without the need for programming by the brake operator, while providing easy handling and processing of various part geometries. It also eliminates part deformation and the need for a second operator while improving output and reducing labor costs resulting in a decrease in the overall price of manufactured products.
